Cheap flights around Europe

Nov 20

Once you’ve made it to Europe, the cheapest way to travel long distances is usually to fly with a budget airline - especially if you book far in advance. Most of Europe’s many budget airlines are happy to deal with groups these days.

easyJet: One of the largest discount airlines, and based in Britain. You can book online as usual for groups of up to 40 people. You only need to get in contact with easyJet directly if you’re trying to book for a larger group.

SkyEurope: Based in Eastern European hubs like Bratislava, Prague, Warsaw and Budapest, SkyEurope is one of the most useful budget airlines if you want to explore some of the emerging destinations of Europe, especially those where intercontinental flights usually don’t land. SkyEurope considers a group to consist of 20 or more passengers, and they offer a guaranteed lowest price for your group - if you find another airline that can give your group a cheaper price, SkyEurope will sell you your tickets for 10 percent less.

Germanwings: A great airline for flying in and out of many German destinations, Germanwings considers a group to consist of 10 or more people. They’ll give you a quote for your group, although they generally offer the very cheapest fares only to individual travelers.
