Rio de Janeiro. Even the name drums up images of the exotic, and a vacation to this location is sure to be that. But it’s not the crazy South American party place that you might be imagining; or at least it doesn’t have to be. Sure, if you want to spend your Rio vacation partying it up, you can. But Rio is a terrific group travel destination for people of all ages and interests.

Combining a group trip with some kind of volunteer work can be really rewarding. The gang at the Volunteer Brazil program encourage group bookings and have a few interesting projects operating at the moment. Teaching English or helping in an orphanage are fairly common volunteer placements, but if you’re planning a group trip to help with teambuilding or group cohesion, then there are some better suited activities offered by Volunteer Brazil. Iguazu Falls are located on the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay in South America.
