- Immigration Museum: Also a part of the state museum collection, the Immigration Museum focuses on the very mixed cultural backgrounds and stories of Australian citizens. It’s a way to meet a lot of different Australians without having to search too hard for them.
- Scienceworks: A great place to go if your group includes children, the Scienceworks museum is one of those typically fun, interactive science centers which also has links to the Melbourne Planetarium.
- Australian Racing Museum: Horse racing is an institution in Melbourne, home to the annual Melbourne Cup race that stops everyone across Australia. You can get an insight into this unusual aspect of Australian culture, making it a must for all horse lovers, gamblers and curious onlookers.
