Looking for a group travel idea for you and few of your buddies this summer, can we suggest fly fishing in Montana.
Montana is legendary in the world of fly fishing, with travelers coming from all across the globe to cast a line in it’s waters. It’s crystal clear pristine lakes and rivers are framed by dramatic mountains and create the perfect atmosphere. The rivers are filled with blue ribbon and rainbow trout that anglers dream about.
Probably the most well known is the Yellowstone River in Yellowstone National Park. Another popular spot is Flathead River in Glacier National Park. Don’t forget the Clark Fork River in Western Montana which is another well known spot for anglers. If you’ve never fished before Fly Fishing for Dummies might be a good place to start, or give FlyFishAmerica.com a visit. If you don’t have your own fishing gear local lodges or campgrounds offer rentals.
