Men with a need for speed will enjoy the Richard Petty Driving Experience. The excursions are available to groups across the country, with 20 different tracks to choose from: in California, Florida, Kentucky, Kansas and more. There are a variety of options on offer: Visitors can sit shotgun in a two-seat stock car or drive a NASCAR-style racer themselves.
Groups of ten or more receive special treatment, sometimes involving exclusive use of a track at night or a half-day buy-out during the day, depending on the size of your group. Groups can choose driving experiences ranging from the Rookie Experience (driving instruction plus eight laps) all the way through to the Experience of a Lifetime, which allows group members to drive 30 laps in three blocks of ten after instruction.
Most programs begin with an orientation video, followed by some on-track instruction for the group, and then one-on-one instruction in a car. A meeting for final instructions is held before driving, then the laps begin. The experience finishes with a closing ceremony during which each member of your group gets a graduation pack that includes a detailed lap timesheet. That way there can be no arguing over who was the better driver.

Nice post - lots of great events and ideas for my group. I also noticed that a site called I’m in! (www.imin.com) has cool trip ideas as well. And those trips can be saved to a private page and customized - very cool - almost like a starter trip idea that I can make my own and share with my group…
