Group Golf Vacation: Myrtle Beach
If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

You’ve done the hard part already. You’ve gotten your group together and settled on a destination – Myrtle Beach. And you’ve even picked your main activity – golf. But there’s still a lot of planning left to do before it’s tee time on the South Carolina coast. You need to pick your golf courses, find accommodations and get everyone packed and ready to go.
There are a lot of golf courses to choose from. Decide what your budget is and how many courses you want to try during this group vacation. If you only want to try out one or two courses while you’re there, you can go with a more expensive place. If you’re going to be paying fees at several courses, you’ll want to look at lower end courses. Luckily, there are a number of great Myrtle Beach golf courses at all price levels.
You might even think about staying at a golf resort since there are a number of those in the town. They’ll be able to accommodate your group and you won’t have to worry about how everyone is going to get from one course to another. Popular Myrtle Beach golf resorts include Legends, Sands and Litchfield resorts but there are plenty of others to choose from.
Don’t forget to think about what else your group will want to do while at Myrtle Beach. If you’ve got several people in the group who will want to enjoy beach activities as well as golf, you should find a resort that’s located on the water or on one of the nearby islands. Remember to minimize the number of locations you’ll be traveling to in the town and maximize the fun. Now you’ve just got to get everyone packed!
