Mystic is located in the eastern section of Connecticut and is a true seaport town. From maritime history to fun filled aquariums to exciting casinos - you can see and do so much in Mystic. A visit to Mystic Seaport will bring you back to the 19th century in this re-created maritime village. Situated along the Mystic River you can visit the museum, view the historic tall ships and actually step aboard the nation’s only surviving wooden whaler ship. Visitors to the Mystic area have two choices when looking into casinos. Both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun operate full scale casinos in the Mystic Area. Foxwoods hosts world class gaming with over 7,000 slots and tons of table games, keno, race book and high stakes bingo and poker. With three hotels, extensive dining options and specialty shopping even non-gamblers love to visit Foxwoods. Mohegan Sun is an enormous gaming facility with two casinos with over 6200 slot machines and nearly 300 table games. Top entertainers have been known to perform here and guests can expect a first class hotel and spa.
