One of the advantages to visiting Washington D.C. with a group, aside from being able to share the experience with your friends, is that you are able to apply for a visit to the White House. Groups of ten or more qualify to take a guided tour of many of the state rooms at the executive mansion.

How to Apply
Tours are given year-round, except for certain state functions, Tuesday through Saturday from 730am to 1230pm. To apply, prospective groups must apply to their member of Congress up to six months in advance. If you don’t know how to contact your Congressman or Congresswoman, call the Congressional switchboard at 202 224-3121.

Each prospective member over 14 years of age is required to submit their name, date of birth, Social Security number, and country of citizenship. Those under 14 years need only submit their name and date of birth.

If approved, your group will receive tickets in the mail no later than five days prior to your visit.
