If you absolutely love theme parks and you also love the thrill of being safely terrified, you should probably start planning now to make it out to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights. At Halloween Horror Night you’ll encounter the movie characters who have terrified you for years. If you thought it was frightening to watch Freddy and Jason on the screen, your pulse will really be racing when they’re out walking amongst you. Especially when they start chasing you through mazes and haunted houses.
This annual event, which takes place at both the Universal Studios in Los Angeles and the one in Orlando, “may be too intense for young children,” according to the event website so it’s not suitable for everyone. But if you’ve got a group that’s not afraid to be afraid, this can be a perfect group travel destination for Halloween. After all, the fun of fear is intensified when you’re trying to prove to others that you aren’t really scared. Teenagers and college-age folks particularly love this kind of Halloween adventure.
