You might be planning a vacation with various family members, or a school reunion trip, or even a conference. Whatever the reason, the logistics of planning a group vacation when the group is geographically widespread - or simply don’t have much time to meet in person - can be a nightmare. TripHub can make it easier.
A social networking site designed expressly for the purpose of organizing a group trips, TripHub allows you to create a webpage for your trip and invite your traveling friends to join the page. TripHub then creates a handy “Who’s Coming” list with Yes, Maybe and No responses, so you can get this first step of planning out of the way quickly and easily.
Then come the tricky parts: Taking suggestions, reaching consensus and booking your reservations. Users can create a group blog where all trip participants can suggest places to stay, activities to book or restaurants to eat in. It might get a bit heated before final decisions are made, but once the reservations are done, you can enter the details into the schedule page.
When events like dinners, day trips or tours are added to the schedule, you can easily send a notification to all members so they can check the details for themselves. You can print out the schedule to print and take it with you. You can also take advantage of the trip map section, where you can in put the addresses of hotels, restaurants and activities along with driving directions.
Before or after your trip, you can post links to photos and videos hosted on other sites, such as Flickr or YouTube.
